‘An Talla Solais have a brand-new gallery space in the heart of Ullapool, and engaged audiences made up of our local creative community and visitors to our village. We are excited to be deepening our relationship with the Scottish Potter’s Association, showcasing the best of Scottish ceramics, and exploring the theme of Connections, Past, Present, Future - we’re looking forward to seeing your submissions!’
This will be a selected exhibition for approximately 30 members each submitting up to 4 pieces of work. There may also be the possibility of an additional open exhibition in another part of the gallery depending on the numbers applying to take part and the range of work available. Exhibitors should note that, whilst most pieces will remain on display until the end of the exhibition, some buyers may be travelling in the area and will want to remove the piece at the time of purchase, which will be allowed. The gallery also reserves the right to select additional exhibitors and rotate the works on display during the exhibition.
Selection will take place in the week following the submission deadline with the intention that successful applicants will have the opportunity to drop off exhibition pieces at the Spring Gathering at Tulliallan on the weekend of 3rd to 5th March.
Exhibitors will also be notified of additional drop-off points around Scotland to ensure that everyone does not need to make the trip to Ullapool. Equally, collection of unsold works will be coordinated back to drop-off points.
All photographs submitted of selected works must be available for use in marketing materials for the exhibition.
