This event was started by Geoff Cox and you can find more information on the facebook group Potters Playtime. So, what could you make with 50kgs - 4 standard bags of crank clay – over a two-day period. The idea is just to have fun and push yourself doing something you’re unlikely to do otherwise. You can work by yourself or with someone else.
This event will take place over the weekend of the 6-7th July at three venues in Aberdeen, Alyth and Glasgow. Kevin Andrew Morris and Maria Nordgren hosting Aberdeen and Alyth. Places can be booked via Bookwhen for Aberdeen and Glasgow whilst folk can contact Maria directly to book a slot at Alyth. Cost will be £60 to include clay and tea and coffee – bring cake or other home baking. There could be an additional option of firing work dependent on size limitations, this can be negotiated for an additional cost. Geoff Cox will be at the Glasgow venue, and it is hoped that we can live stream from each location.
