MAJOR COVID STUDY
Researching the effects of creativity in lockdown
Thousands of you have been getting involved in creative activities during the pandemic and we believe this has been a huge source of joy, comfort and relief for many people in difficult times.
Now we are supporting a major study, led by University College London (UCL) and a range of partners including Arts Council England and NHS England & NHS Improvement, to examine just how these kinds of activities have affected your wellbeing and your experience of the pandemic.
Everyone is invited to share their own personal experience in this unique survey - so please do fill it in yourself, and share with your participants if you have organised creative, cultural or community activities this year. The results from this study will be published next year and presented at an international conference.
PRIX EUROPA
You've been shortlisted for an international award!
The annual Prix Europa celebrates the best media productions across Europe each year. We are really delighted that the BBC Lockdown Orchestra's "You Got The Love" featuring performances from thousands of members of the public from all across the UK made the shortlist of nominees in the Digital Media category.
While the Lockdown Orchestra didn't win the award in the end, being shortlisted for such a prestigious award is incredible recognition for the contributions of so many amazing people who got creative and played, sang, danced and painted as part of the production. Congratulations to all of you - this nomination is for everyone who took part!
