The International Ceramics Festival have postpone their traditional festival until 2022. However they will still be celebrating ceramics during the 2021 ICF weekend!
For Friday July 2nd, the ICF have teamed up with COCA (Centre of Ceramic Art at York Art Gallery) who have been running outstanding symposia on ceramics over the past couple of years. Together they will be presenting Ceramics and Lockdown - Performance, a series of online presentations centred around ‘lockdown performance’ made by ceramic artists during the past year.
Instead of an on-site festival, Aberystwyth Arts Centre will be opening its doors to the local community this year with a community workshop run by 2019 demonstrator Wendy Lawrence.
This event will be free but a donation button will be available on their website should you wish to support the festival in 2022. More information about the event programme and how to access the live stream will be available on their website in the coming weeks so stay tuned!
