This is a unique creative opportunity to join visiting Canadian potter Emma Smith (http://www.emmasmithceramics.com) and local potter Nancy Fuller for a weekend course in a beautiful purpose-built studio in the scenic town of Alyth. Both potters specialise in wood-firing and hand-building and will share their individual ways of making and decorating. Try out the slow pace of pinching and coiling to get closer to the clay and learn skills which will enable you to work in the size that you want. This course is for a small group of participants so book early to avoid disappointment.
Times: Sat 27th & Sun 28th April 10 – 4pm
Price: £240. This includes tuition and clay. If you wish to have your work bisque-fired this can be arranged separately with Momentum Pottery.
