I?m Rosie, originally from Ireland, I now live in South Queensferry near Edinburgh in Scotland.
I enjoy making wheel thrown and slab built pottery pieces from my home studio. Each piece I make is handmade and therefore unique in itself.
Having attended many pottery classes over a few years, my love of making grew more and more and at the end of 2019, I invested in my own equipment and had a studio built in my garden, which brought about the beginning of Rosie Hay Ceramics.
Making pottery is such a calming meditative experience for me. It’s something I hope to be doing for many years to come and I’m looking forward to the journey it takes me on.
