I make functional yet decorative pottery that spans a broad spectrum of ceramic art. I work with clay in a variety of ways from hand building using slabs, molding or slip casting and throwing in earthen or stoneware clay.
Each piece is varied, glazed by hand and influenced by my instincts and emotions. The patterns, textures and colours in my ceramics are inspired by the natural world ? trees, plants, birds and other animals that represent the beauty of the Strathmore Valley and the picturesque market town of Alyth.
