My work is principally earthenware using a vibrant blue glaze. I like to make vessels as it is the space inside that I am attracted to. Glazes behave differently inside a vessel than on the outer surface. Lately I have been making lidded vessels so that I contain the space.
All my work is influenced by my fascination with discarded/ decaying objects and how they place themselves in the landscape.
