Within my ceramics practice, I explore abstracted shapes and forms, through both hand-building and slip-casting. I aim to create work that audiences want to touch and hold, to carry on that tactility from the making process.
Through experimentation with glazes, I explore colours and textures that create mini-worlds within the form or highlight the shape of the ceramic. Both the decoration and the making are important to my practice I want both aspects to be equally appreciated by both me and the audience.
