My name is Daoine Bellshaw. I live in the Highlands overlooking Ben Wyvis.
I studied contemporary Art in Glasgow in my younger years and currently split my time between being part of the local Midwifery team and my pottery studio.
My work is inspired by the beautiful surroundings of the Highlands, the teeming local wildlife and the underrepresented folklore of our area.
I enjoy making functional pieces combining throwing and hand-building.
I always strive for striking colours while exposing large parts of the body of the clay itself.
