I am based in Lewis, Outer Hebrides. I am inspired by the colours and forms I see around me in the hills and coastline of these beautiful islands and by the wish to produce sustainable items that can be used and cherished for years.
I create wheel-thrown stoneware for decorative and functional use; vases, bowls, mugs, jugs, small goblets, and cups, and also smaller, hand-built pieces including pendants, earrings, dishes, and buttons.
Currently, I am experimenting with glazes made from local stone with peat-ash from our fire.
