Carol is a ceramics graduate of Grays School of Art in Aberdeen and has been running her own studio since 1991. She started by setting up her hand made tile studio in Edinburgh, and has gradually developed her work to become and exhibiting artist exploring the theme of connection, to one another and our environment. She moved to a semi rural location in Forfar, Angus, 6 years ago and this has had a significant impact on her work. Working predominantly in porcelain, she has developed her own signature inlay technique which allows her to apply different imagery and pattern to both the inside and outside of her pieces.
